Game Six Cups Structure.

 

            Here is a quick rundown on how the cup competitions will run. Remember they are all FREE to play except the Super Cup and you can choose whether to participate in that or not. More news on that around weeks 3 onwards.

 

PRIZES:

            All finalists receive a prize. The champion’s league gets free turns credits. The remaining cups get either Game Cash for free players. These are allocated during the first few turns of the next season. There are also lower division prizes in the Super Cup for the best finishing sides from the lower divisions

 

All cup fixtures are listed in these pages with the matches being played that next turn deadline.

 

CUP SELECTION RULES:

            A separate team selection can be sent in for ALL cup matches. Just send in a copy of your league selection or send in a different selection on a separate sheet of paper (NOT BACK OF TURNCARD). A copy of a cup turncard can be downloaded from the website. DO NOT state any other turn details, such as bids, deals, adverts etc on cup selections as they will be ignored.

            If no selection is received the league selection from the previous turn will be used as cup games are played BEFORE league matches.  There is NO OVERSEAS rule in cup games, you CAN select suspended players but CANNOT play an injured player in cup games.

 

Champions League  

 

                The Games official ‘World Champions’ come through this competition and earn their manager a FREE season in turn credits.

                Usually the games top two from each league plus cup winners gain entry in the group stages. Qualifiers form that go into the knock out stages. All matches are played in the second half of the season.

                This season qualification will be based on the WEEK 11 standings as there are no league winners etc.

 

Pro-Soccer Cup:  

 

            The games ‘UEFA Cup’. Like the Champions league will be run in the second half of the season and teams qualify by 3rd,4th,5th in each league plus lower divisional winners and any remaining cup finalists from last season.

            Each round is knock out and like the Champions league, this season’s qualifiers will be determined from Week 11 league standings.

 

Super Cup. 

 

            The games biggest competition as any side can enter. You are charged an extra one off payment to enter with discounts for multiple entries.

            Each team guaranteed 6 games as first round is in groups with qualifiers going into the knock out stages. Group games are played in the first half of the season with knock games in the last few turns of season.

            More details on this will be in these pages around weeks 3 to 4 along with details on how to enter.

                There is NO overseas rule in ALL Champions League Fixtures.

                You CAN play suspended plapyers in games, but CANNOT select any injured players.

                If you do not send in a cup selection then your form for that game and your league game will be affected.
